We had a fantastic time staying at the Old Dame School. The cottage was full of charm and had all the modern comforts we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were great, and the kitchen was fully equipped. We loved the cozy log burner and the village pub served excellent food. With plenty of walks and bike rides from our doorstep, plus a delightful tearoom opposite, it was the perfect location for our family of four.
I do recommend this hotel.

I stayed at a charming cottage in a beautiful village in the Dales. The location was fantastic, with plenty of walks and bike rides available right from the cottage. The property was clean and comfortable, perfect for a family of four. The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well-equipped. There was even a lovely tearoom opposite the cottage that served delicious meals and teas.
The cottage was quite small with low ceilings and steep stairs, which is to be expected from an old property.

Stayed at a fancy cottage with free WiFi, garden, and only my own friends. Had all the mod cons, including a dishwasher and fireplace. Lots of cultural highlights nearby. Managed by pros.
Shame the weather wasn't managed by pros too.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming cottage in the heart of the Dales. The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to beautiful walks and a lovely village pub just a stone's throw away. The cottage itself was a delightful blend of old-world charm and modern comforts. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the showers were great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We especially enjoyed cozying up by the log burner in the evenings. Despite being an old property, the cottage was impeccably clean and maintained. The small outdoor sitting area was a nice bonus. we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend staying at Old Dame School for a truly enjoyable getaway in the Dales.
